Barossa Valley Wine & Food (Public)

The Barossa Valley is renowned as a long established, traditional wine region where clients can explore their inclinations for wine while learning about the history and cultural aspects of this region.

This full day tour will take clients to high quality wineries with an emphasis on their preferred varieties of wine and also the emerging “new” or lesser known wine varieties.  There are nice culinary moments along the way, including lunch at a special venue.   A Magpie Tours Guide will share their extensive knowledge of the history and utilise the extensive working connections that Magpie Tours has established with wineries and businesses in this region.

"Let's Go Barossa Valley" itinerary highlights include:

• Car pick up from client accommodation at 9am.

• Passage through historic North Adelaide then a quick freeway journey heading North to the Barossa region.

• Initial stop at Mengler Hill lookout to gain a visual understanding of the extent of the Barossa.

• Visits to 3 or 4 wineries with tasting experiences that reflect client interests and preferences (all expenses covered by Magpie Tours).

• Food is also a prominent part of the Barossa character, so the tour includes lunch at an award winning restaurant to enjoy a meal and a glass of wine (complements of Magpie Tours).

• Visit to an art gallery showcasing local artists and a selection of delicious treats only available in the Barossa.

• Drop off to client accommodation around 5.30pm.
